The Middle Path
To me, the middle path, the path to success, comes down to education along with the willingness to learn, to keep a beginner’s mind in place, to be vulnerable, and to change. Fostering awareness and self-awareness is key. A community supporting anyone willing to do the inner and outer work toward extraordinary success is monumental. I couldn’t be more excited about sharing what gives any single human the chance to get out in the world, do what you know you are here to do, set yourself FREE.
FEAR of stepping into our wholeness can dig into certain areas that are considered taboo.
We happen upon sneaky taboo zones from time to time.
Don’t allow them to cripple you.
Ask me about the taboos.
FEAR is a nasty little instigator.
He tends to hang out with PERFECTIONISM.
Most of us have healthy doses of one or both due to conditioning.
This is nothing other than part of the Human Experience.
Most people who know me wouldn’t consider me to be fearful of much...
But my perfectionism streak runs strong. It stems from nothing more than conditioning:

First Born + Female
Southern Born + Bred
Motivated + Ambitious
Perfectionism, more so than what we commonly think of as fear, is what has held me back.
Yet attempting perfection sure does tie back into the fear of getting something wrong.
Small imperfections nag at us.
Large mistakes might intensely cripple us.
As a coach, teacher, therapist, service or hospitality provider, or even living in a small town, the more we are in the public eye, the more we are up for public scrutiny.
Even the biggest, brightest, most well-known folks fear making mistakes.
But what we truly fear is being SEEN.
Seen as imperfect.
Seen as anything less than successful.
Most of the time, particularly on social media, we are never allowed to see this side of those celebrities, our very own hometown heroes, or even in real time in our most intimate relationships.
I'm not talking coming in 3rd place in some race, dealing with an injury, or even oversharing every little detail, posting endless selfies in need of attention.
I'm talking real life brutal face-down-in-the-arena style moments of pure vulnerability.
It's certainly a challenge I am navigating WITH you.
Releasing perfectionism, stepping into fear,
Gaining the understanding that...
It's OK to make mistakes.
It's OK to shine.
This IS the Middle Path.
This is a constant avenue of focused action alongside the art of allowing. In borrowing from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, focused effort and effortless ease.
Perfectionism and Fear get together often. They like to hang out and convince people it’s not worth stepping into our wholeness because someone’s opinion of us might change.
Welp. That is true.
Opinions of us WILL change. But that's not for us to worry about...
Stay the course.
Stay in your own lane.
Eyes soft and inward.
Trust the process.
We are all perfect.
This is the Middle Path.
