Caroline Myss is a five-time New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition. I ran into her book Sacred Contracts in the 90's. It made sense, yet I did not have the patience nor likely the maturity back then to really dive deep and create a vast understanding of what the hell she was talking about and what exactly I was supposed to even figure out at the time. Later I picked up Anatomy of the Spirit which is a classic and an absolute reference for many of us in the healing arts. Healing or simply addressing what is not working in all realms being physical, mental and emotional, is so important in so many ways. Many people have endured obstacles beyond imagination. So, yes, they have been handed paths that usually mean in-depth healing is necessary. Even if you know their story, or have experienced the same, it is not for you or any human being to judge where they are on their path as each and every one of us is individual requiring completely different avenues toward holistic health.

But once we arrive at a certain point - some experts say 80 percent - and have worked through a lot of the madness, it is time to just BE. Be with what is happening right now. We often must employ a hell of a lot of time and tools in order to be able to do so. Those working within wellness provide countless tools and techniques to keep you walking your line toward freedom. However, even for high-performing individuals lucky enough to have missed major tragedies, it can be a massive learning process which no one is actually exempt from if you want to live a truly conscious life. Go easy on yourself. Remember that it is a practice.  And if you are at 80 percent, just be with what is golden. Caroline Myss sure does tell it to ya straight with grace and humor to sum it all up in this one TED Talk.  Share the love.
